Epic activity sheets for kids

The kids and I sat down to watch Epic a few days ago. It was my first time seeing it, but it had definitely been on my radar since reading that Steven Tyler and Pitbull both voiced characters in the movie.

My five year old had seen it earlier in theaters, and he seemed to like it enough to give it another round. So I switched the audio over to Spanish and I set out some activity sheets to go along with the movie for our afternoon activity.

Epic was a cute movie with a great message. I love movies that give kids the message about taking care of Mother Earth, but in a way that they really understand. It was also pretty awesome to take in the perspective of our world from someone who is only two inches tall.

After the movie, we explored our copy of Epic on Blu-ray and saw that it came with Epic Coloring and Storybook Builder app. It’s a nice bonus (at no additional cost). The app allows kids to create their own Epic story. The story can then be shared with others. The Epic Blu-ray combo-pack also has exclusives that take the kids a littler further into learning about the environment.

We used a couple of activity sheets during our Epic day include the matching game and mad libs (which was completely lost on the two year old, but my five year old enjoyed). My five year old is also a huge fan of mazes, so the Epic maze activity sheet was perfect for him.
