“A Christmas Story” arrives at MainPlace Mall
Something new has arrived in Santa Ana… “A Christmas Story” Santa Claus set at MainPlace Mall!!! This new themed set is just a part of all their fun-filled family-friendly seasonal events and activities to make the holiday season extra special and exciting.
Last year, MainPlace Mall had a very traditional Santa setup. This year, guests will be able to be a part of a very special Santa’s arrival that showcases MainPlace Mall’s brand-new “A Christmas Story”-themed journey-to-Santa experience. Kids will be able to be make new memories and talk to Santa Claus at this FREE Santa experience!
Visit Santa Claus at MainPlace Mall at their “A Christmas Story” set
Did you know that you can drop off letters to Santa inside the mall? Have your child(red) write a letter with their wish list and drop off the letters at the new “A Christmas Story” set. While you’re there, you can also get a professional photo taken from November 13th through December 24th.
The new “A Christmas Story” interactive Santa set is free and open to the public. This set will immerse guests in the film’s setting, all the way down to the leg lamp.
Walking around the set you can see the living room, stairs, the playground and even the kitchen.

Santa’s Arrives at MainPlace Mall on November 15th
Thee entire community is invited to join MainPlace Mall in welcoming Santa Claus to his new “A Christmas Story” home on Friday, November 15th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Following Santa’s arrival, children and their families will be able to meet some of Santa’s favorite elves, enjoy face painting and balloon twisting, and sip hot cocoa while listening to a DJ play festive holiday music. There will also be exciting giveaways available to the first 300 children to attend.
This special fun-filled event, which takes place on Level 1 in Center Court is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.

Pet Photos with Santa: December 1st and December 11th:
Pet owners are invited to bring their furry four-legged friends to a special pet photo session with Santa Claus on either of two days, December 1st from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or December 11th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. During these events, well-mannered, leashed or kenneled pets can visit with Santa in his new “A Christmas Story” holiday home located on Level 1 in Macy’s Court while professional photographers capture the memories as Santa and each fur baby enjoy a warm encounter. Pets must use the entrance near Yogurtland and may not leave the Macy’s Court. Since Santa’s “A Christmas Story” encounter will be open for people without pets during these times as well, those with pets will not be able to walk through the interactive experience; they will use a priority access line that takes them directly to Santa. “Santa Cares” Sensory-Friendly Event: December 8th
MainPlace Mall’s “Santa Cares” event is a sensory-friendly opportunity for children with special needs and their families to enjoy a visit and private photo session with Santa Claus in a calming environment before the mall opens to the public. The event takes place on Sunday, December 8th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the new “A Christmas Story” set on Level 1 in Macy’s Court.
