Second Harvest Food Bank partners with almost 300 Orange County nonprofits, churches, schools, colleges and universities, senior centers, etc. by providing them with food so they can give residents the help they need, when they need it most.

Senior Meals Programs (60 years and older)
Pantry food pick-up
Each eligible person receives a box of food weighing approximately 32 pounds, including cereal, juice, peanut butter, milk, canned veggies, fruit, soup, and cheese.

Meals on Wheels
Delivers three nutritious meals a day, five days a week by caring volunteers. Every meal is carefully prepared and packaged at our headquarters in Anaheim, CA, and then distributed to area seniors and community centers. Then, dedicated volunteers deliver them straight to the homes of older adults in Orange County.

Summer Meals Program (18 years and younger)
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County launched its 2024 Summer Food Service Program on May 28th. This program will help provide nutritious meals to address food insecurity among children in the Orange County community.
The FREE Summer Meals Program provides free meals to all children throughout Orange County who are 18 years of age and younger—without any eligibility requirements—to ensure they have access to nutritious food while school is out during the summer months. The program will operate at sites throughout the county, providing easy access for families in need. To find the nearest open site, individuals can call 211 or text 898211 to inquire about distribution hours.

Mobile Food Trolley
“Clementine” the Mobile Food Trolley is a customized mobile grocery store on wheels that serves low-income families throughout Orange County. Uniquely designed as a French Market, with affirmative hand painted messages throughout the trolley is intended to remove the stigma of shopping at a food pantry, while also traveling to food deserts to ensure nutritious, healthy fruit, vegetables and staple items are available to low income families and their young children.
