This past weekend I had the opportunity of letting loose and riding my first water slide of the year – heck – of the past two years! I took on the Alberta Falls water slide at Great Wolf Lodge in Southern California.

Alberta Falls Water Slide

The Alberta Falls is four stories of exhilarating, fast-water fun that takes you through swiftly banking turns and steep pitches in our tandem tube ride. It’s the perfect take on a trip for two. The Alberta Falls water slide takes you right outside the building and back in again before your final drop into the plunge pool.

We had a blast going down the ride. It’s super short and the line wasn’t too bad to get on. The pool that you end up at is just a couple of feet deep.

This massive, 84-degree indoor water park offers the best in weatherproof Southern California family fun! You’ll find plenty of jaw-dropping thrill rides and water slides along with zero-depth-entry playgrounds for your small children. Swim and splash the day away while creating unforgettable memories together.

Great Wolf Lodge is packed with family-friendly attractions, activities and fun things to do for every member of your wolf pack. Test your skills in the sprawling Northern Lights Arcade or grab a magic wand and discover the mysteries of MagiQuest, our live action adventure game that transforms the resort into an enchanted realm of wonder.
