Orange County Summer Movies Guide (2024)
Movies were big last year with drive-in movies. This year, they’re bigger and better because theaters are open AND cities are still hosting outdoor movies in Orange County! Twice as many movies to see this season.
Use this outdoor movies list to plan out your movie outings. We’ll update as we see more OC Summer movies listed so make sure you’re bookmarking this page for easy reference.

Summer movies at movie theaters around Orange County
$2 Regal Theaters
Every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer, Regal will offer two movies during the first show of the day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which strives to enable youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens through voluntary after-school programs.

FREE Movie Mondays at Segerstrom Center for the Arts
Guests are welcome to arrive at 5:30 pm, with the movie starting at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.). Pre-show activities are available from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Guests may bring their own snacks, chairs, blankets, or picnics, but tables, BBQs or large food set-ups will not be permitted. Seating will be first-come-first-served. George’s Café will be open and additional food trucks will be on site for food purchases. No outside alcohol is permitted; however, alcohol will be available for purchase at George’s Café for those of age 21+. Closed captioning will be included at all showings!

FREE Movies in the Park
Lights, camera, action! Bring your friends and family to our annual Movies in the Park series every Friday beginning June 7. 5:30pm. Movie begins after sunset.
Popcorn will be available while supplies last and in partnership with the Power of One Foundation.
At each movie, guests can look forward to inflatables and themed activities. Food will be available for purchase from rotating food vendors.
Headsets will be available for alternate audio in Spanish. Recommended that guests arrive early to secure their spots and find parking. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics

Enjoy an evening with family and friends at our Movie Nights Under the Stars series! Grab a blanket, chairs and some snacks and join us for FREE viewings of our favorite movies this year.
