Weight gain
Let me start off by giving you the numbers:
First pregnancy
Total weight gain: 59 lbs.
Second pregnancy
Total weight gain: 54 lbs.
So, it’s obvious that I don’t stick to the recommended pregnancy weight gain and fully embrace the freedom of eating everything and anything that I feel like eating (vegetarian, of course). It took months to lose the weight the first time. Even then, my body was not back to how I wanted it… it took even more time to get that right (about a year!). This time around though, things are different. I gained weight in places that I never really worried about before… butts, thighs and arms. The baby is *almost* four weeks and here I am, 25 lbs. lighter but light years away from fitting into my jeans, heck, light years away from getting my jeans past my thighs!
I’ve done one 30 minute session on our elliptical and wondering if I should have started an exercise routine earlier.
Which bring me to my next question – at what point did you start exercising? Did you wait a few weeks, months, or never started?
