Going from “Mami” to “Mom”

I know I was griping earlier about wanting the kids to grow up faster, but gee whiz! My four year old is slowly transitioning me from being his “Mami“, to being his “Mom”. And the Hubster’s not being spared. He’s just “Dad” now. Is this what happens when they watch “older-kids” cartoon like Phineas & Ferb? Next thing you know he’ll be trying to call us by our first names.
