To have your event listed on our events calendar, please submit your event and a team member will review and approve.
How to get a free listing on our Orange County Events Calendar
We ask that events submitted as a free listing follow the guidelines listed below. Ultimately, it is up to our discretion whether the event meets the guidelines set forth.
- Must be family-friendly. Events where alcohol is allowed are okay.
- Event must be free-of-charge to guests OR cost less $5 per ticket (not including parking).
- Cannot be a one-time trial class or fundraisers with a minimum donation to participate
- Open house events must also incorporate a family-event (e.g. grand openings with kid-friendly activities).
- One free listing per event/organization per month.
How to get a sponsored/paid listing on our Orange County Events Calendar
We have options available for events that do not qualify for a free listing. Please note that these options are customizable. Please reach out to us at [email protected] for more information.
A regular event listing includes event information with an image (provided by the business). Does not include social media promotion on our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages, nor does it include a blog post promoting the event.
Regular Listing with Social Media Promotion on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
This listing includes a regular listing and social media promotion on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages. This includes a basic event listing with an image. These upgraded basic listings include your event being shared across our social media channels for additional exposure.
Bulk Event Listing
This option is great for businesses who have multiple events happening during the month (i.e. museums, zoos, play spaces, parks). Each listing includes a full description along with an image for each event listed in our calendar. Also includes social media amplification (one post on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook per event).
Sponsored Post with Social Media Promotion on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
Blog post includes a 500-750 word description of the event along with proper SEO optimization for best results. Lives on LivingMiVidaLoca.com for a minimum of 90 days. Blog post includes client-provided images (at least three) and a link back to the business’ website. Post will be amplified on on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages at least once, with an image.
Client also has the option to giveaway tickets to their event at no additional charge (this feature also helps to boost the views of the blog post and provides better visibility in the community).
Living Mi Vida Loca reserves the right to reject events that are not family-friendly.
