Top 5 Moments from the #DisneyJuniorFamilia Photo-A-Day Challenge

This is a sponsor post.

We had so much fun participating in the Disney Junior #DisneyJuniorFamilia photo-a-day challenge! The challenge was all about sharing our special family moments inspired by Disney Junior – like singing and dancing with Mickey Mouse and the clubhouse crew, dressing up like a pirate or princess, or giving check-ups to stuffed animal friends like Doc McStuffins.

For ten straight days, the whole family got involved sharing pictures online, and even some directly on the Disney Junior Facebook page. We’re crossing our fingers that one of them gets chosen to go on TV! With the challenge completed, I am sharing my top five pictures from the #DisneyJuniorFamilia challenge.

Challenge: Smiling with Your Best Friend Mickey

My kid loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. In a home with an older brother, sometimes it’s hard to keep him interested in shows meant for his age. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is one of those that has kept his interested, even with his older brother around. This Mickey Mouse came home with me all the way from Walt Disney World a couple of years ago. I love how it’s black and white.

Challenge: Posing with Your Sidekick like Skully and Smee

My bestie, Jill of SandyToesandPopsicles.com is off on her family vacation for a while – and I miss her! This picture was taken during our visit earlier this year to Terry Farms in Oxnard, California. We spent a couple of days with the kids, and without the hubsters. We made some great memories and brought home some delicious strawberries.

Challenge: Cuddling Like Lambie

With two kids, sometimes it’s hard to get a picture with just one child. For me, I always seem to leave my baby out of the picture because he’s always too preoccupied with something else. This was a rare mom and baby picture that I absolutely adore. His shirt says, “Yo Soy Macho.”

Challenge: Royal Picnic or Party Celebration

My aforementioend “baby” actually turned three years old earlier this month. We had a great time celebrating his day at the park with family. It was really low-key filled with lots of laughs, love and conversations. My son had his first piñata that he chose out himself. It was almost as tall as him! In the end, the last person to hit the piñata ended up breaking it spreading toys and candies all over the floor. It was the longest birthday party we’ve ever had (over six hours!), and definitely one of our favorites.

Challenge: Giving Check-ups like Doc McStuffins

Pretend play is a must in our home. We have lots of play food, doctor sets and so many costumes. I’m a huge believer in the power of imagination and I hope that the kids keep their sense of imagination long after they grow up. One of the sets that my baby likes the most is his doctor play set. He has his little doll that he takes care of and gives pretend check-ups too. It’s super cute.

We had a blast celebrating Disney Junior during the photo-a-day challenge and during our Disney Junior fiesta that we hosted at my mom’s home. We’ve been all about Disney Junior this month, and my youngest son has been reveling in the experiences.
