Heading to Hofsas House Hotel at Carmel-by-the-Sea

The Pedrozas’ went up north to Hofsas House hotel at Carmel-by-the-Sea to enjoy the last days of winter break while taking in the beautiful Pacific Coast. We stayed at The Hofsas House Hotel, a boutique family-owned inn with 38 uniquely decorated, spacious rooms, many with ocean views overlooking the pines in the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Carmel boasts some of the cutest cottages, some bed & breakfasts. Our little heads slept at the charming Hofsas House. It is located in a great location near many of the main tourist sites of Carmel. Since we traveled with the kids, having a small kitchenette in our room was of great benefit for us. A great feature at Hofsas House Hotel was the year-round heated pool which I thought my little swimmers would definitely want to make use of, even if it’s a chilly day. The Hofsas House offers continental breakfast – what more can a busy mom want? It also has some great ocean views from the viewing deck, where families can enjoy their morning coffee, and hot chocolate for the kiddos.

We had three days of activities planned while staying at the Hofsas House Hotel. Activities like visiting a local park created by Dennis the Menace cartoonist and having a bonfire with s’mores for my little munchkins. We also plan on visiting Point Lobos State Reserve to view some sea lions and the local Mission Basilica. Check back soon because we’ll be sharing pictures of our trips, thoughts on the hotel and tips on making your trip up to Hofsas House Hotel easy and even more enjoyable.
