Kidgits Event at the Westminster Mall

We had such a fun and busy weekend and it all started with the Kidgits Halloween Event in The Pumpkin Factory at The Westminster Mall. We walked in and we were greeted by goodies right from the beginning – DOLE Real Fruit Bites! Delicious and in perfect timing because we hadn’t had breakfast yet. We passed some of the pumpkins on display and ended up at the Kidgits goodie bag table.

The goodie bags held a small pumpkin, more fruit snacks, a Children’s Place coupon, a cute ghost necklace, a bat clapper and 5 ride ticket. It might have had other things in there, but my child got to it before me.
We passed the petting zoo and headed straight to the crafts table to make a spider. We colored the spider body, attached the legs and glued on googly eyes. My son, who is so not a big crafter, was very into this project.

After finishing our craft, we went to the sensory table that held “brains”, “scabs” and every other yucky thing that monsters are made of. We dipped our hands into each bowl as I tried to convince my three year old that it was supposed to be fun to pretend to touch monster body parts. My son? Not convinced.

It was my youngest’ first time visiting a pumpkin patch so we had to grab a picture. The Pumpkin Factory has LOTS of great photo ops so we took advantage and clicked away. Here’s my fav:

Kidgits Club
I love taking our kids to all the different Kidgit Club events held at Simon Malls.  They’re always well organized and you can’t beat the $5 a year membership fee. It is such a great value.

Members enjoy savings from retailers, free goodies at events, a T-shirt when you sign-up, a birthday gift and other benefits throughout the year at participating Kidgits Club Malls. The events that we enjoy the most are Breakfast with Santa and Breakfast with the Easter bunny. My son also enjoys spinning the wheel at the customer service desk and getting a prize every time we visit our mall. I’m telling you, the $5 yearly membership fee is worth it!

I received no compensation for this post. I received a complimentary Kidgits membership from The Westminster Mall to facilitate my review. However, I’ve been a Kidgits member for two years now and I stand by everything that I said above. This post do not necessarily represent Simon Property Group’s positions, strategies or opinions.
