Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival is back
Finally!!! Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival is just a few weeks away. This two-week event is easily my all-time favorite season at Knott’s Berry Farm. Couple the gorgeous weather with special activities, fun decorations in and around the park, and delicious food – well it’s easy to see why I’m such a fan.
[/lightbox]While there are a million things to enjoy about this time at Knott’s, I have two very special things at the top of my list of favorite things to do: the Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden and the Boysenberry Festival.
Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden
The tasting garden is located at the Wilderness Dance Hall. You can go in free of charge, but once inside, you’ll have to purchase a punch card that will allow for five wine and/or craft beer tastings (as well as some non-alcoholic options for the little ones). Each tasting also comes with a food treat on the side. I’ve found I love this special event because I discover new wine favorites, all local, and it’s in a family-friendly environment! The punch card also allows you to document tasting notes so you remember what you liked about the beverage. I suggest you also swing by at night because the towering sculpted topiaries just outside the dance hall come to life via twinkling lights.

This two-year old festival takes place in Ghost Town and it’s a real treat for foodies and foodie wannabes. Take a stroll through Ghost Town and pick up some boysenberry-inspired products to munch on – and even to take home. One of our favorites last year was corn-on-the-cob with boysenberry butter. The hubster, however, enjoyed the deep fried alligator and spicy boysenberry BBQ wings even more. Take the time to snap a few Instagram-worthy pictures against the oversized boysenberries and with rustic banners hanging overhead.

Visit Knott’s Berry Farm during the Boysenberry Festival, March 28 – April 12. The limited-time festival is included with admission to Knott’s Berry Farm (some experiences require additional fee) and also by using your Knott’s Season Pass.
