Before and after with Zerorez

[disclaim]This is a sponsored post.[/disclaim]

Did you know that the five-second rule is a myth? So my belief of dropping something on the floor, picking it up and still thinking that it’s okay because of “the 5 second rule” is out the window. It doesn’t exist! After baby numero dos that 5-second rule was easily extended to 10-15 seconds, so it’s been a tough one to live by the new mantra: “when it doubt, throw it out”.

I was reading through some studies and articles online regarding the 5-second rule and I was surprised at some of the finding, and then closed the pages feeling lucky that my kids hadn’t contracted some type of horrible bacteria. For example, did you know that some bacteria can give you awful stuff, like diarrhea? You can’t see the bacteria but it sure can make you sick.

And even if you dropped your snack and then picked it up right away, bacteria can attach to your food as soon as it hits the floor. So food that is momentarily on the floor can get contaminated if conditions are right. Those foods with wet surfaces can pick up bacteria even more easily. It’s a dangerous world out there.

My home, unfortunately, is ripe with bacteria. Not because I don’t clean the floors, vacuum, etcetera, but because we have horrible air quality. We live close to the freeway and we have an alley behind our patio. So all those vehicles passing by are constantly kicking up dirt, dust, and so on. Before we know it, our carpets are filthy, our countertops are dusty and our home is dirty. It’s a never ending battle, but one that I begun to fight back wholeheartedly thanks to Zerorez. Using this service on a quarterly basis will minimize the impact bacteria has inside my home.

About Zerorez

ZerorezSoCal is a new technology cleaning company that cleans carpets, upholstery, tile and grout, and much more using a patented, high pH alkaline water. The heated cleaning solution is simply softened water that is modified to increase the alkalinity, and it is so pure, the technician can drink it before they clean with it, because it truly is only modified water. That is very different from other cleaners that claim they “clean green” but still use undisclosed chemicals that may or may not be toxic. And because the Zerorez cleaning solution is “just” modified water, there is never any concern about “hidden” chemicals that remain after the cleaning technician leaves.

Before Zerorez came along, I knew my carpets were dirty – but I didn’t know that they were practically toxic. You can see in the image above just how dirty they were. I even had someone come in the day after and they asked me if I had put in new carpet. It was a night and day type of situation.

And did you know that they clean upholstery as well?! Last year, I purchased this off-white couch as my rebellion in an all-male household. Let’s just say that it’s been a battle to keep it looking off-white.  And the thing is, that I can use wipes to wipe it down, but what that does is just spread the dirt around. So it looks like a gray-off-white color. Well Keith, our Zerorez expert, used this special cloth and cleaning solution and restored it to its beautiful self. I’m in love with it again!

As a Zerorez SoCal Ambassador, I have the opportunity to extend to you a super  special discount to Southern California residents: 2 Areas for $99.
