* Seared Scallops with chanterelle mushroom tapenade, confit pearl onion, and porcini oil

Catal is celebrating Valentine’s Day beginning Friday, 2/14, and ending Sunday, 2/16, from 5-10 p.m. each day. Make your reservations before January 31st and enjoy a complimentary bottle of Chef Joachim Splichal’s signature cuvee. The Valentine’s Day weekend at Catal menu includes entrees such as:

* Artisan Semolina Spaghettini with Belize shrimp, chorizo Bilbao, Calabrian chiles, preserved lemon, Castelvetrano olives, Txakoli wine

* Kansas City Steak lobster with Hollandaise, truffle mash potatoes, baby red carrot, spinach and a red wine sauce

The Anaheim White House will be serving it’s Romeo & Juliet menu all weekend long. Three three course menu includes:

* Romeo & Juliet Combination Platter composed of fresh bocourti whitefish stuffed with arugula & spinach in a light lemon beurre blanc paired with oven roasted filet mignon with Italian porcini mushrooms and a brandy cream sauce.
* Wild Berry Savarin – baba cake, puffed pastry and pate choux filled with vanilla creamed topped with  fresh wild berries and an apricot glaze.
