I’m super excited about January this year. There are so many great events happening… and it’s also the first year that I get to take my youngest to Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam! Wooooohoooo!!!!
Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam®
Angel Stadium in Anaheim
January 12 – February 9, 2013.
Before my youngest came along we went every.single.year. Heck, before kids came along we would go every.single.year. We would pack up our blankets, gloves, hats and scarves, find a seat as close to the action as possible and scream until our voices went out. The energy in the stadium is contagious and it is guaranteed that the following day you will wake up without a voice. It is THAT intense.

This year, the hubster and I get to take our 5 year old and our 19 month old out to watch all the huge monster trucks and the little RC cars at the Angels Stadium. They’ll be sporting ear plugs because it can get crazy loud out there, especially when stuff like this happens:

This year is extra special because the all-new Hispanic “El Diablo” will debut and it’s going to get the crowd going all loco when it comes out.
So if you’re thinking about going and you’re in Orange County, I highly suggest you get your tickets very, very soon because the first show is this Saturday!
With your ticket, you’ll get to experience a massive collection of the world’s best monster trucks who will battle it out in the dirt and put on a great show. In prior years, it’s also been an option to rush outside after the show and meet a few of the Monster Truck drivers up close and personal – grab a picture with them and even an autograph! The last time we went we purchased a Grave Digger plushie and had all the drivers autograph it. It’s still a great addition to my son’s keepsakes.
