Aquarium of the Pacific is scheduled to host its Holiday Treats for the Animals weekend on December 1st and 2nd. Over the weekend, you’ll be able to experience Santa Diver delivering treats to the penguins, sea otters, seals, sea lions, birds, fish, and other animals. Santa Diver will make an appearance at the nearly three-story-tall Honda Blue Cavern exhibit where you will see him dive with leopard sharks, barracudas and other scary looking predators.
Furthermore, the sea otter exhibit will be decked out for the “sea”son with “fishmas” treats and a real snowman, and visitors can watch the otters savor candy cane-shaped lobster treats. Throughout the weekend, Aquarium staff will give special gift delicacies to penguins, sea lions, and other marine animals as well. Families can also enjoy holiday music, crafts, special presentations, unique photo opportunities, shopping, and more. To top it all off, snow will fall in the Aquarium’s Great Hall!
